Sophie Rose is a Jewish-American writer, filmmaker, and photographer based in New York City. Her work is focused on personal narratives, emotional interiority, and the aesthetics of self-representation.

Her debut feature documentary, The Feeling Remains, has been recognized by the Berlin Indie Film Festival (Best Original Score), the New York City Independent Film Festival, New York Film Week, the Swedish International Film Festival (Best First Time Filmmaker, Best Original Score), and the San Francisco Jewish Film Festival (Local Spotlight).
